WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus met with UK Foreign Secretary Lammy
London, July 30 (Hibya) - World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus met with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
WHO Director-General Ghebreyesus expressed his pleasure at meeting UK Foreign Secretary Lammy in London, stating: "We discussed the importance of climate action from a health perspective and WHO's efforts to protect those whose health is at the greatest risk".
During the meeting with Lammy, they discussed WHO's efforts in Gaza, and Ghebreyesus thanked him for the UK's support for UNRWA and humanitarian partners, adding: "We greatly appreciate the UK's support for the Pandemic Agreement and WHO's first Investment Round".
