Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol today made his final defense at the country's Constitutional Court regarding his impeachment case. He was removed from office after his attempt to declare martial law in December failed. Yoon’s opponents argue that the conditions for declaring martial law were not met.

In his defense, Yoon stated that he declared martial law to warn the nation about a social crisis caused by opposition forces. He claimed that he had to take this measure due to conflicts with the South Korean parliament, where the Democratic Party holds the majority.

Yoon also accused North Korea of orchestrating election fraud that helped the Democratic Party win last year’s parliamentary elections, alleging that spies undermined national security through fake news and manipulated polls.

Yoon stated that he was successful in his role because the South Korean people are now aware of the crisis facing the country.

Following his statement, Representative Jung Chung-rae, speaking on behalf of the National Assembly’s appeals committee, provided little support for the President’s claims. He argued that if Yoon had only wanted to warn the nation, he would not have sent soldiers to the parliament building to disrupt proceedings.

If Yoon is found guilty, he will be permanently removed from office, and new elections will be held.
