Zakharova: Canadians are among the co-authors of cultural genocide
Moscow, April 8 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova referred to the treatment of the Russian-speaking population in Ukraine, highlighting the role of Canadians in this process.
Assessing the cultural situation in Ukraine, Zakharova stated that Canadians are among the co-authors of the cultural genocide of the Russian-speaking population.
Comparing Canada’s own language policies with its stance on Ukraine, Zakharova said: "However, in Canada itself, even the slightest disruption when it comes to bilingualism is met with outrage."
