Zelensky: A summit bringing together 24 countries is being held in Kyiv
Kyiv, May 26 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the international summit being held in the capital Kyiv with the participation of 24 countries, as well as the Belarusian people’s struggle for independence and the future of Ukraine-Belarus relations.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a summit with the participation of 24 countries would be held in Kyiv.
Drawing attention to the summit, Zelensky said, “All our neighbors in Europe are represented: Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, and Belarus.”
Referring to Russia’s pressure on Belarus and the resistance of the Belarusian people, President Zelensky stated, “We all support the Belarusian people’s desire to free themselves from Russian interference, and we know that Russia is trying to drag Belarus even deeper into this war against Ukraine.”
Delivering a message of regional independence and good neighborly relations for the future, Zelensky said, “We value every kind of support Belarusians provide for a free Ukraine, and we know that the day will come when good neighborly relations between our states will be restored, based on the genuine independence of both Ukraine and Belarus from Moscow.”
