Zelensky discusses support for Ukraine with Sanchez
Madrid, November 5 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed Russia's attacks, Spain's military assistance to Ukraine, and his country's defense needs during a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
In a post on his social media account, Zelensky stated that he had held a lengthy discussion with Sanchez. He said they reviewed Russia's attacks on Ukraine, the contents of Spain's €447 million military aid package, and Ukraine's priority defense needs.
Noting that Russia's attacks on energy infrastructure were continuing, Zelensky reported disruptions to electricity and water supplies in several cities, particularly Kyiv, Dnipro, and Zhytomyr. Zelensky thanked Sanchez for Spain's support and also expressed his condolences over the lives lost in the train accident in Toledo.
