Zelensky: It was a difficult night for all of Ukraine
Kyiv, May 24 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the regions of Odesa, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, and Dnipro were damaged in Russian attacks.
President Zelensky said that fragments of Russian missiles and drones were cleared in Kyiv.
He noted that search and rescue and emergency response operations are ongoing in the affected areas: “There were many explosions and fires throughout the night in the city. Once again, homes, vehicles, and businesses were damaged. Unfortunately, there are injured.”
Zelensky stated: “It was a difficult night for all of Ukraine. The regions of Odesa, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, and Dnipro were affected. All attacks targeted civilians. There are casualties. I offer my condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives.”
He added that they expect sanction measures from the United States, Europe, and all partners.
