Zelensky: Last night, the Russian army continued to use attack drones against Ukraine
Kyiv, April 2 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Russian army launched a total of 74 drones against Ukraine last night.
Zelensky stated that out of the 74 drones, 54 were Shahed drones.
He emphasized that Kharkiv was deliberately targeted: "Unfortunately, there were hits. Among the wounded are three children. All of them are receiving the necessary medical assistance. There was also damage in the Odesa and Sumy regions. An FPV drone struck a transformer station in Sumy, and in Nikopol, Dnipro region, a power line was damaged by artillery fire. Around 4,000 consumers in two regions were left without electricity due to these attacks."
Zelensky added: "Russia continues its airstrikes. The systematic and ongoing nature of these attacks clearly shows that Moscow is disregarding the diplomatic efforts of our partners. Putin doesn’t even want to guarantee a partial ceasefire. We are ready to work in the most constructive way possible with the US, Europe, and all our global partners to achieve the necessary result."
