Zelensky meets Polish President Nawrocki
Warsaw, December 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed his satisfaction at being back in Poland as part of an official visit.
Referring to his meeting with President Karol Nawrocki, Zelensky said: “These relations are not merely neighborly ties; they are relations between two fundamental pillars that make freedom and security possible in this part of Europe.”
Zelensky stated that the independence of Ukraine and the independence of Poland form the foundation for all nations in this part of Europe to live freely without Moscow’s domination.
He emphasized that it is therefore vital to cooperate, support one another, and continue efforts in a coordinated manner to defend Europe and their nations.
“Today, together with President Nawrocki, we discussed the security situation and all aspects related to war and diplomacy. I am grateful to Poland for the concrete and strong support it has provided to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people since the first days of the invasion, as well as for the traditional solidarity it has shown throughout all the years since we regained our state independence in 1991,” Zelensky said.
