Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

Sharing details of the meeting and the situation on the battlefield, Zelensky said, “During our meeting with Alexander Stubb, we shared the details of our talks in the United States and discussed the current expectations in the field of diplomacy.”

Highlighting Russia’s losses, Zelensky stated, “Frankly, Russia is suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, and the situation in its economy is becoming increasingly difficult. Alex praised our success in maintaining long-term sanctions. At the same time, we are doing everything we can to better protect Ukrainians from Russian attacks. I am grateful to him for fully understanding our needs. Patriot missiles are literally needed every single day.”

Referring to upcoming diplomatic engagements, Zelensky concluded his statement by saying, “We also talked about diplomacy. We are preparing for important meetings in August. Thank you, Alex!”
