Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia's ballistic missile threat is increasing and that some Russian companies operating in this field are still not included on the sanctions lists of many countries.

Zelensky said key organizations involved in Russia's ballistic missile production are able to take advantage of gaps in sanctions and stressed that sanctions should be implemented with greater coordination among partner countries.

Zelensky noted that the Ukrainian-developed FREYJA air defense system could become part of Europe's joint ballistic missile defense infrastructure, adding that agreements are in place with European countries and companies possessing the radar and sensor infrastructure required for the system.

Zelensky said the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition, which includes Ukraine, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, is also open to other countries capable of contributing.
