Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the ongoing investigation into the killing of two people in the village of Kalynivka in the Kyiv region.

Zelensky said Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko had informed him that another member of the group believed to be responsible for the incident had been apprehended.

Describing the incident as a "terrible tragedy," Zelensky said that all those responsible would be brought to justice.

Zelensky stated that ten people have been detained so far as part of the investigation, including military personnel and the former commander of the 155th Brigade.

He stressed that the incident was not limited to a single settlement or the Kyiv region, saying, "Establishing the full truth and ensuring that those responsible are held accountable is a necessity for the entire country."

Zelensky also noted that representatives of the Kalynivka community, regional authorities, and police had met and that efforts to secure justice for the Moseichuk family were continuing.

He added that all commitments made during the meeting must be fully implemented and thanked the media organizations that have contributed to the process and continued to follow the case.
