Kyiv, June 11 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the country is celebrating Unmanned Systems Forces Day for the first time.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country is celebrating Unmanned Systems Forces Day for the first time and that June 11 will become an annual special day dedicated to expressing gratitude to the soldiers serving in these forces.
Referring to the critical role played by unmanned aerial vehicles in modern warfare strategies and to military achievements on the front lines, Zelensky drew attention to the losses suffered by the Russian army.
Emphasizing the operational capabilities of unmanned systems, Zelensky said: “Modern warfare can no longer be imagined without drones, and Ukraine’s unmanned systems are operating successfully at different levels, from carrying out missions on the front line to striking important facilities hundreds of kilometers deep inside enemy territory.”
Sharing figures on the effectiveness of drone operators in the field, Zelensky stated: “All of this is documented, and thanks to the precision and skill of our operators, Russia’s losses have long exceeded 30,000 killed and wounded per month.”
