Zelensky: Ukraine is in 24/7 communication with the US and ready to end the war
Kyiv, March 9 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine is coordinating with the United States (US) and is prepared for Russia’s maneuvers in the Middle East.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said after a meeting with the negotiation team that they are in virtual communication with the American side 24/7. Zelensky noted that the meeting planned for this week was postponed at the request of the American side, but emphasized that Ukraine is ready for any meetings that could contribute to ending the war.
Zelensky stated that according to information obtained from Ukrainian intelligence, Russia is attempting to manipulate the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf in order to turn the Iranian regime’s attacks into a second front of the war in Ukraine. “These strategic maneuvers must not be allowed. Protecting lives must be coordinated,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine will continue defense and strategic cooperation with the US.
At the end of his statement, Zelensky thanked everyone who contributes to the process.
