Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information about contacts with representatives of allied countries and bilateral cooperation within the framework of the NB8 Summit.

Highlighting the support of the Nordic and Baltic countries, Zelensky said, “We thank our friends who are always by our side on such important days for Ukraine. Over the years, we have built a partnership and friendship with each of the Nordic and Baltic countries that we can be proud of.”

Referring to the bilateral contacts, Zelensky said, “After the summit, we held bilateral meetings with our close NB8 partners: Mette Frederiksen, Andris Kullbergs, Alexander Stubb, Kristen Michal, Gitanas Nauseda and Jonas Gar Store.”

Sharing the main agenda items of the meetings, Zelensky said, “Our cooperation always has a clear and practical agenda: strengthening our air defense, preparing for the winter period, European integration and joint defense projects. And tomorrow, we will continue our joint work and discussions.”

Zelensky concluded his statement by saying, “Thank you for your constant willingness to help. For our part, we are also doing everything we can to ensure that Ukraine strengthens its partners with our expertise, combat experience and technologies.”
