Zelensky: We know the Russians are preparing their missiles for a major attack
Kyiv, July 24 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia is preparing a new large-scale missile attack against Ukraine and called on allies to strengthen air defense support.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on contacts with international partners, referring to intelligence information and the need for air defense.
Drawing attention to the risk of a possible attack and security warnings, Zelensky said: "From our intelligence sources and our partners, we know that the Russians are preparing their missiles for a new major attack against Ukraine. The attack could take place today – we have preliminary information indicating that it could occur within the next 48 hours."
Expressing his expectation of understanding from partners, Zelensky said: "Please take care of yourselves and pay attention to air raid alerts. We expect understanding from our partners – air defense is our top priority and the first area in which our partners can help us."
Emphasizing the importance of informing the public and international partners, Zelensky stated: "It is important that our key partner countries learn more and more about what is really happening in Ukraine, Russia's attacks against our people, and Russia's efforts to prolong this war."
