Ukrainian President Zelensky made a statement regarding the meeting held as part of the Kyiv visit by US President’s representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

In a post on social media, Zelensky thanked Witkoff and Kushner for their visit to Kyiv and said the meeting was productive. He noted that the talks continued over several rounds and that the parties would remain in contact today as well.

Emphasizing that the most important goal for Ukraine is to achieve a dignified, reliable and lasting peace, Zelensky said they are continuing all their efforts toward this objective.
