Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali announced the inauguration of the Kechene–Ambassador–Gihon–Irreecha–Bambis Riverside Development Project, implemented in Addis Ababa with the aim of creating a modern, green and inclusive city.

As part of the project, which covers a total area of 351 hectares and a 10-kilometer route, pedestrian walkways, bicycle lanes and integrated transportation infrastructure have been developed. The project also includes children's playgrounds, public squares, amphitheaters, sports facilities, and eight fountains and water features.

In addition to parking areas, the project's infrastructure includes eight electric vehicle charging centers capable of charging more than 100 electric vehicles simultaneously.

Abiy Ahmed stated that river management, soil and water conservation measures, and green spaces along the riverbanks combine environmental restoration with urban regeneration. He noted that the project also expands economic opportunities. A marketplace has been established where residents who previously lived along the river can produce, display and sell handicrafts. An agricultural products center has also been created to connect agricultural producers with markets.

Abiy Ahmed described the project's objective, saying, "Our vision is to build a city that is not only beautiful but also productive and inclusive; a city that serves its people today and future generations."
