Moscow, January 13 (Hibya) – An air raid alert has been issued in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and nine other regions.
According to data from the online map of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air raid alert has been declared in 10 regions of the country, including Kyiv.
The map shows that air raid sirens are currently sounding in Kyiv as well as in the Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Ukrainian television channel Kyiv 24 reported explosions in Kyiv while the air raid sirens were sounding.
In a message posted on the channel’s Telegram account, it said: “Explosions are being heard in Kyiv.”
Ukrainian outlet “Strana.ua” also reported hearing explosions near the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region.
According to Russian authorities, the Russian Armed Forces began strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Moscow says was carried out by Ukrainian intelligence services.
