According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone call with Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdelatty.

During the diplomatic contact, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and Egypt and discussed their determination to further support and strengthen these ties.

The discussion also addressed the mediation efforts underway between the United States (US) and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are closely linked to regional stability. It was emphasized that the two countries would continue to work in coordination to advance diplomatic processes and reduce tensions in the region.
