According to a statement from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi.

The parties exchanged views on regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability.

The meeting also reviewed developments following the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran. In addition, the importance of safeguarding international maritime navigation security and freedom of passage through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law was emphasized.
