Albares: Russian drone violation against Romania is unacceptable
Madrid, May 29 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares stated that Spain stands in full solidarity with Romania following a Russian drone incursion and announced that Russia's ambassador in Madrid had been summoned to the ministry.
Albares, following his meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu, reacted to a Russian drone entering Romanian territory and violating European airspace.
Albares stated that the incident constituted a serious violation against both Romania and European security and expressed Spain’s full solidarity with Romania. He also announced that, as part of a diplomatic protest, Russia’s Ambassador to Madrid had been summoned to the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
