Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali met with Dr. Jean Kaseya, Director General of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).

Commenting on the meeting, he said, “This morning, we had a good meeting with Africa CDC Director General Dr. Jean Kaseya. During the meeting, we discussed our priorities.”

Referring to transformation in the health sector, he stated, “Innovation continues to be one of the cornerstones of Africa’s progress.”

He also noted Ethiopia’s approach, saying, “Ethiopia is committed to sharing its experiences across the continent and building strong partnerships.”

Regarding the future, he added, “I look forward to working closely with Africa CDC and partners to turn this vision into tangible and inclusive outcomes.”
