Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremonies for the Karabakh University Library and Innovation Center buildings in Khankendi on November 7. Aliyev was briefed on the facilities and opportunities to be provided in the buildings.

The library building, planned to have four floors, will serve approximately 1,100 students simultaneously. In addition to reading halls, the building will feature spaces for individual and group study, meetings and academic collaboration. The library is intended not only to meet the university's academic needs but also to serve as a source of knowledge for local residents.

The Karabakh University Innovation Center aims to develop students' creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, support their innovative initiatives and expand university-industry cooperation.

The center is also expected to support initiatives that contribute to Karabakh's socioeconomic development, develop innovative solutions to local needs and strengthen cooperation between the university, public institutions and the private sector.
