Anand: Canada, the UK and Australia will strengthen cooperation
Atlanta, October 31 (Hibya) - Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and UK Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband on the sidelines of the G20 Summit to discuss peace and security in the Middle East, adherence to international rules and the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand emphasized in a statement the importance of trust-based partnerships in a rapidly changing world. She stated that Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia have built relationships based on trust over generations through their cooperation in defense, intelligence and diplomacy.
Anand said she met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and UK Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Ed Miliband in Atlanta during the G20 Summit. She noted that they discussed how the partnership among the three countries could be leveraged to support peace and security in the Middle East, uphold international rules and promote the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
