Araghchi: It is possible to put diplomacy back on track
Tehran, August 28 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said during his meeting with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister that it is possible to revive the diplomatic process, calling on the United States to choose trust and respect instead of pressure.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced that he held constructive talks with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
Araghchi said that putting diplomacy back on track is not impossible, noting that this depends on the United States understanding the fact that “pressure does not work.”
He stated that the United States must build trust, use respectful language, recognize Iran’s rights and remain committed to the pledges it has made.
