Asian stock markets closed higher
Istanbul, June 15 (Hibya) - Asian markets showed a positive performance on the first trading day of the week.
Asian markets displayed a bullish trend on the first trading day of the week. All major stock exchanges across the region ended the day in positive territory.
The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.14 percent to 8,653.70 points. In India, the NIFTY 50 index gained 0.22 percent, reaching 23,214.95 points.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index climbed 1.11 percent to 24,407.96 points, while China's Shanghai Composite Index advanced 0.73 percent to 3,993.226 points.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 0.07 percent and closed the day at 64,179.27 points.
