Barrack: Reports that the U.S. encouraged Syria to send troops to Lebanon are unfounded
Ankara, March 17 (Hibya) - U.S. Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack stated that claims suggesting the United States encouraged Syria to intervene militarily in Lebanon are unfounded.

Stating that reports about U.S. policy in the region do not reflect the truth, Barrack said: "Reports claiming that the United States encouraged Syria to send troops to Lebanon are false and unfounded."
