Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting in Tokyo with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoji Motegi.

Bayramov stated that during the visit they discussed the broad agenda of Azerbaijan-Japan relations and reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, energy and transportation.

The meeting also addressed opportunities for partnership in green technologies and decarbonization processes.

Attention was drawn to Azerbaijan’s role as a regional logistics hub, while the strategic importance of the international transport route crossing the Caspian Sea was also discussed.

Minister Bayramov noted that the Japanese side was also informed about plans for a visa-free regime and expressed the expectation that it would boost tourism and business relations between the two countries.

Regional developments, the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process, and the situation in the Middle East were also discussed during the meeting.
