Berendsen: We will continue to stand with Ukraine
Amsterdam, August 24 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen visited a reception center in the Netherlands housing displaced Ukrainians on Ukraine’s Independence Day.
Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen visited a reception center housing Ukrainians on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day.
During the visit with Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Andriy Kostin and Mayor Grauss, Berendsen spoke with Ukrainians about Ukrainian culture, life in the Netherlands and expectations for the future.
Berendsen said Ukrainians continue to fight for a free and independent Ukraine even when they are far from home, adding: “We will continue to stand with them.”
