Biden promises to protect Israel against all threats from Iran
Washington, August 2 (Hibya) - US President Joe Biden spoke by telephone yesterday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to a White House statement, the two heads of state discussed the possibility of the United States sending more military support to Israel.
According to the statement, the President reaffirmed Israel's commitment to its security against all threats from Iran, including Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
Iran supports both Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi movement in Yemen.
Biden said that ballistic missiles and drones are among the concrete threats that Israel must protect against. However, it is not clear what exactly Biden intends to send to Israel.
