Brekelmans: The Dutch Air Force will remain in Romania until September
Amsterdam, February 12 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced that the Dutch Air Force will remain in Romania until September 2026.
Defense Minister Brekelmans stated that the Netherlands continues its commitment to strengthen NATO's eastern flank defense.
He also mentioned that the MQ-9 Reaper missions in Romania will be extended for another 6 months, saying: “These unmanned aerial vehicles are vital for intelligence gathering.”
Brekelmans also confirmed that the Dutch Air Force will remain in Romania until September 2026.
