Leyen congratulates Barbados Prime Minister Mottley
Brussels, February 12 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen sent a congratulatory message to Mia Amor Mottley, who was re-elected as Prime Minister of Barbados.
European Commission President Leyen congratulated Mia Amor Mottley on her re-election as Prime Minister of Barbados for a third term.
Leyen noted that Mottley continues to show what it means to stand up for the people of Barbados, adding:
“From your efforts to strengthen climate resilience to the work you are doing for global financial architecture reform. Truly inspiring. I am happy to see you both as a partner and as a friend.”
