Budrys: Lithuania is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine
Vilnius, July 15 (Hibya) - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys said in a message marking Ukraine's Statehood Day that Lithuania will continue working alongside Ukraine to stop Russia's aggression and strengthen peace in Europe.

In his message, Budrys congratulated Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and the Ukrainian people on Statehood Day, saying, “Throughout its centuries-long history, Ukraine has repeatedly fought for its statehood and independence. This struggle has never been easy, but it has always been carried out with great determination and dignity.”
Emphasizing that Lithuania is proud to regard Ukraine as an ally, Budrys said, “Lithuania is proud to stand with Ukraine as an ally. Together with Ukraine and our other allies, we are joining forces to stop Russia's aggression and build a free and peaceful Europe.”
Budrys added, “A free, strong, and prosperous Ukraine is an integral part of the Euro-Atlantic family and today also contributes to global security.”
