San Salvador, April 12 (Hibya) – El Salvador President Bukele made an assessment regarding layoffs driven by artificial intelligence.
El Salvador President Nayib Bukele evaluated the increasing layoffs caused by artificial intelligence.
In his statement, Bukele drew attention to the potential negative effects of AI-driven layoffs on economic balances.
Bukele included the following remarks in his statement:
“AI-driven layoffs are a textbook collective action problem. Every company lays off workers to remain competitive; but if everyone follows the same path, demand collapses. You optimize costs, but you also eliminate your own customer base and your company…”
