Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that an electronic application platform had been made available to Bulgarian citizens living abroad who wished to vote in the presidential and vice-presidential elections on October 25, 2026.

According to the ministry's September 10 announcement, citizens could submit electronic applications through the website of Bulgaria's Central Election Commission. Electronic applications had to be completed by 24:00 on September 29, 2026, Bulgarian local time.

Applications were collected to determine the number of polling stations to be established abroad and to prepare voter lists. Citizens could also submit their applications in person or by post to Bulgaria's diplomatic and consular missions by the same deadline.

The ministry stated that the electronic platform allowed information to be checked online and helped ensure the accuracy of applications. It was also noted that submitting applications would help reduce crowding and queues at polling stations on election day.

The announcement further stated that in countries outside the European Union, polling stations outside diplomatic and consular missions could be opened by decision of the Central Election Commission, provided that at least 40 voters had submitted applications.
