Netanyahu: Ballot papers containing additional writing are considered invalid
Jerusalem, October 25 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned voters, arguing that recommendations to write an additional phrase on ballot papers could result in their votes being invalidated.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on recommendations encouraging voters to write an additional phrase on their ballot papers.
Netanyahu stated that voters had been advised to write the Hebrew expression "בס״ד" on their ballots, claiming that this seemingly innocent action could lead to their votes being declared invalid.
Arguing that adding the expression to a ballot would render the vote invalid, Netanyahu alleged that the initiative was intended to invalidate votes for him and enable Gadi Eisenkot to form a government together with Yair Golan and the Arab parties.
Netanyahu said in his statement, "This will not happen because you will not allow it."
