Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney made a statement regarding the images showing the treatment of civilians aboard the Flotilla.

Carney stated that the practices shown in the images shared by Itamar Ben-Gvir were unacceptable.

It was reported that Canada’s Foreign Ministry instructed officials to summon the Israeli ambassador in order to request assurances regarding the safety and security of Canadian citizens.

Prime Minister Carney also said: "Canada has already imposed strict sanctions on Mr. Ben-Gvir in response to his repeated incitements to violence, including asset freezes and travel bans. The protection of civilians and respect for human dignity must be upheld everywhere, at all times."
