Carney: Canada and China have a long-standing relationship
Beijing, January 15 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada and China have a long-standing relationship that creates opportunities for the people of both countries.
Canadian Prime Minister Carney thanked Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, for the constructive meeting they held in Beijing.
Stating that Canada and China have a long-standing relationship that creates opportunities for the people of both countries, Carney said: “In a more divided and uncertain world, we are focused on renewing this relationship and moving toward a stronger future.”
