Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke about the details of his meeting in Dublin with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and the areas of strategic partnership between the two countries.

Highlighting the economic momentum between the two nations, Carney said, “The relationship between Canada and Ireland is growing; trade has increased by nearly 150 percent over the past decade.”

Drawing attention to the innovative areas of cooperation discussed at the Dublin summit, Carney stated, “Today in Dublin, Prime Minister Micheál Martin and I focused on new partnerships in artificial intelligence, healthcare, and food security that will create even more opportunities for our peoples.”
