Carney: We are making the largest federal public transit investment in the city's history
Ottawa, Aug. 6 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney commented on the Ontario Line project and federal investments aimed at improving Toronto's public transit infrastructure.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that as Toronto continues to grow, its public transit system must grow with it, announcing that the federal government is making the largest public transit investment in the city's history.
Highlighting the project's contribution to shorter travel times and better urban connectivity, Carney said: "The Ontario Line will reduce commute times by up to 50 percent and connect more neighborhoods across Toronto to the rapid transit network."
