CENTCOM: 3 U.S. fighter jets crashed over Kuwait
Washington, March 2 (Hibya) - The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that three F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets operating under "Operation Epic Fury" crashed in Kuwaiti airspace.
The U.S. Central Command issued a statement regarding ongoing military activity in the Middle East.
In its briefing on the timing and details of the incident, CENTCOM stated:
“On March 1 at 23:03 U.S. time, three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft flying in support of Operation Epic Fury apparently crashed over Kuwait as a result of friendly fire.”
