CENTCOM: The blockade is being applied impartially to the ships of all nations
Washington, April 14 (Hibya) - The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that an F-35B fighter jet carried out flight preparations during the transit of the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA 7) in the Arabian Sea.
In the command’s statement, it was noted that the 3,500 personnel on board are taking part in the blockade mission targeting Iranian ports and that this measure is being maintained impartially against the ships of all nations.
The statement included the following:
“Tripoli and the 3,500 sailors and marines aboard are carrying out the mission of blockading ships entering and leaving Iranian ports. The blockade is being applied impartially to the ships of all nations.”
