Croatia holds a working meeting to determine EU economic priorities
Zagreb, February 10 (Hibya) – Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković met with representatives of the economy and finance sectors ahead of the informal meeting of the European Council.
Croatian Prime Minister Plenković held a working meeting with representatives of organizations such as the Croatian Employers’ Association, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, the Croatian National Bank, HOK, HPK, HBOR, HANFA, and HAMAGBICRO before the informal meeting of the European Council, which will be held this Thursday in Belgium.
At the meeting, the country’s economic priorities and strategic interests were discussed. Plenković emphasized that Croatia supports strengthening the EU’s single market, reducing administrative and regulatory burdens at both the national and European levels, and addressing strategic dependencies, particularly in the energy sector.
The Prime Minister stated that the goal of the meeting was to effectively defend Croatia’s priorities at the European level by including the relevant ministers and representatives from the economic and financial sectors.
