In Iran, ahead of the 22 Bahman (11th February) and the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, General Amir Hatami, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, and senior military officials gathered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting included the Commander of the Navy, the Commander of the Air Force, the Deputy Head of Intelligence, and other senior officials.

During the meeting, the cooperation between the military and diplomacy for preserving national sovereignty and ensuring the country's security was discussed. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, appreciated the participation of military commanders, emphasizing that the sacrifices and commitment of the army were crucial for safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.

Commander Hatami said, "During the blessed Ten Days of Fajr of the Islamic Revolution, we visited Dr. Araghchi and our esteemed colleagues at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, congratulated them on these meaningful days, and appreciated the important work we’ve done together."

Hatami emphasized that defense and diplomacy are not separate domains: "Today, the fields of defense and diplomacy form a single arena where we defend the country’s independence, territorial integrity, public interests, and peace and security of the nation and the region."

Hatami reiterated that the army is fully prepared, stating, "The enemy understands only the language of power... Today, our defense readiness is at an all-time high. Any mistake they make will be met with a response they’ve never seen or experienced before."

Also, during the meeting, details about the Iranian Armed Forces' latest defense and offensive preparations against foreign threats and hostile attempts were shared.
