Crosetto: Italian police have no involvement in what is happening in Gaza
Rome, April 13 (Hibya) – Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto responded to the protests in Milan.
Minister Crosetto stated that violent protesters in Milan shouted “Police Out” while calling for Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to be shot.
He emphasized that the Italian police have no connection with the events in Gaza: “Why is the hatred and violence, which is being censored and fought against in Palestine, being brought here? This has been going on for months. The most unacceptable thing is that some political forces have been deliberately fueling the fire for months, inciting hatred, violence, polarization, and social division. I don’t know what they are trying to achieve (or whether they themselves do), but they are irresponsibly contributing to the escalation of a very dangerous climate, and when the wind turns into a storm, they will have no excuses.”
