Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto issued a statement after Christian clergy were prevented from holding mass in Jerusalem, expressing solidarity with Cardinal Pizzaballa and the accompanying delegation.

Emphasizing the seriousness of the situation in Jerusalem, Crosetto said: “I express my full and heartfelt solidarity with Cardinal Pizzaballa, Father Ielpo and the clergy who were prevented today by Israeli authorities from celebrating the Sunday mass ahead of Easter at the Holy Sepulchre. What is happening in Jerusalem is serious and extremely concerning.”

Referring to the religious and spiritual significance of the event, Crosetto stated: “This is an unprecedented incident affecting not only the relevant religious authorities but also millions of believers worldwide. We are talking about one of the holiest sites of Christianity, a universal symbol of faith, history and spirituality.”

Crosetto concluded: “Denying the possibility of celebrating the Holy Mass on such an important day undermines a fundamental principle that must always be guaranteed, namely religious freedom.”
