Czech President Pavel bids farewell to Apostolic Nuncio
Prague, April 20 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel issued a statement marking the end of the tenure of Roman Catholic Archbishop and Apostolic Nuncio Jude Thaddeus Okolo in the country.
Pavel stated that during his years of service, Okolo led the diplomatic corps and contributed to the development of dialogue between various embassies and the Czech Republic.
Thanking Okolo in his statement, Pavel said: “I personally thanked him for his work here, for his service to the local faithful, and for his contributions to Czechia–Vatican relations.” Pavel also wished Okolo success in his new mission in Haiti.
