Dar meets with Chinese Foreign Minister Yi
Islamabad, March 27 (Hibya)-Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called for dialogue and diplomacy to achieve peace in the Middle East during his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar discussed developments in West Asia with Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and China’s Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to restore peace and stability in the Middle East and the wider region. They also agreed on the immediate cessation of conflicts, the resumption of peace talks, the protection of civilians, ensuring the security of maritime trade routes, and adherence to the United Nations Charter.
Wang Yi expressed China’s support for Pakistan’s efforts in this process. The parties also agreed to continue efforts to resolve all disputes through dialogue and diplomacy.
