Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen made a statement regarding footage of detained Flotilla activists.

Minister Berendsen stated that the footage shared by Minister Ben-Gvir was shocking and unacceptable, emphasizing that such treatment violates human dignity.

Berendsen said that he directly warned Minister Gideon Saar and would summon the Israeli ambassador, stating, "It is good that both Prime Minister Netanyahu and Minister Sa’ar clearly distanced themselves from this. I reiterated that Israel must treat everyone on board in accordance with international law and guarantee the safety of Dutch citizens."
