Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to CCTV, the latest figures on the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have been released.

According to a report issued by the country's health authorities, the number of confirmed Ebola cases has reached 2,011. A total of 754 people have died from the outbreak, while 366 patients have recovered.

The report stated that 753 people remain in isolation.

The outbreak has affected five provinces—Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Haut-Uele, and Tshopo—with Ituri continuing to be the epicenter of the outbreak.

The report noted that transmission remains intense in Ituri and that the emergence of new cases in Haut-Uele indicates a risk of the outbreak spreading to a wider geographical area. It therefore emphasized the need to strengthen surveillance, diagnostic capacity, and operational preparedness.

The report also stated that the outbreak has entered a phase of "sustained transmission" due to the rapid increase in cases since it began.

The outbreak caused by the Bundibugyo ebolavirus was declared on May 15.
